The Groove Nation Band is an electrifying band featuring three exceptionally dynamic front-line vocalists and a rock-solid rhythm section.

Groove Nation performances blend elements of popular timeless and recognizable musical genres from current hits, R&B, Motown, funk, classic rock, retro '70s and '80s, disco and Latin.

DJ Tamm has been a driving force in the music scene since 1996, driven by a deep love for diverse musical genres. He specializes in top 40 hits, old school hits from the '70s to the 2000s, pop, dance and electronic dance music, DJ Tamm is renowned for creating vibrant and unforgettable dance experiences.

With over 28 years of experience, DJ Tamm has held multiple nightclub residencies across the Pacific Northwest, establishing a strong presence in the regional music scene. His journey includes notable radio shows such as C 89.5 FM in Seattle since 1999, where he continues to captivate listeners with his expertly curated mixes. For two decades, DJ Tamm has also been a familiar voice on Club Kiss on Kiss FM and has contributed to Power 93 and Kube 93.3 in Seattle, Movin 99.7 in San Francisco and V101 in Sacramento.

Drawing from his extensive radio background, DJ Tamm skillfully programs his DJ sets with a keen understanding of diverse listener preferences, ensuring every performance is a celebration of music and rhythm. His ability to blend different styles seamlessly keeps the energy high and the party alive, making him a favorite among audiences of all tastes.

A self-described “multi-hyphenate,” Chukundi aka Kun Luv grew up in the central area of Seattle and attended Garfield High School. He is a former political candidate, a civil servant, a community activist, an author, an entrepreneur, an environmentalist, volunteer and much more.

Given the name DJ Kun Luv while attending Elizabeth City State University (a North Carolina HBCU) and DJing the “GYM JAMS,” Chukundi has gone on to perform at events around the world. Known for his ability to connect with a crowd, he has been one of the premier party rockers in the Pacific Northwest and beyond for over 25 years. In the 90s, he served as NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton’s official DJ while selling mixed tapes across the country including the legendary music store Earwax in Atlanta.

Luv has shared the stage with music greats from Patti Labelle and Gladys Knight to Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj, and is a regular in the Seattle area. He is often tapped to perform at corporate and company events, and maintains a client list that includes Microsoft, Boeing, The Urban League, Verizon, AT&T and more.

He has served as a brand ambassador for many local and international companies including his own clothing brand that was carried in Macy’s for a period of time. As an official “Cîroc Boy” DJ, he worked for Diageo and Blue Flame Marketing to promote CIROC Vodka across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Outside of his DJ work, Luv is the founder of Service is a Lifestyle, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit. He is also a 25-year employee at Seattle Parks and Recreation.
