Given the name DJ Kun Luv while attending Elizabeth City State University (a North Carolina HBCU) and DJing the “GYM JAMS,” Chukundi has gone on to perform at events around the world. Known for his ability to connect with a crowd, he has been one of the premier party rockers in the Pacific Northwest and beyond for over 25 years. In the 90s, he served as NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton’s official DJ while selling mixed tapes across the country including the legendary music store Earwax in Atlanta.
Luv has shared the stage with music greats from Patti Labelle and Gladys Knight to Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj, and is a regular in the Seattle area. He is often tapped to perform at corporate and company events, and maintains a client list that includes Microsoft, Boeing, The Urban League, Verizon, AT&T and more.
He has served as a brand ambassador for many local and international companies including his own clothing brand that was carried in Macy’s for a period of time. As an official “Cîroc Boy” DJ, he worked for Diageo and Blue Flame Marketing to promote CIROC Vodka across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Outside of his DJ work, Luv is the founder of Service is a Lifestyle, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit. He is also a 25-year employee at Seattle Parks and Recreation.

Trent Von is on the short list of legends in Seattle’s nightclub scene. His 35+ year career has included residencies at the largest clubs in the city including The Fenix Underground, Neighbours and DV8. As one of only two Billboard reporting DJs in Washington state, Trent is a master of his craft, with musical knowledge spanning most genres, that combined with his mixing skills, packs the dance floors at every gig. You can also catch him in the mix at Seattle’s Home for Dance (C89.5FM), the longest-running dance music radio station in the country, every week for Save the Wave and NuSkool + Ol’ School.
