(August 7, 2025) – Fine whiskey and bourbon aficionados should mark their calendars for a night of culinary excellence on Thursday, August 21, when Tulalip Resort Casino’s award-winning Tula Bene Pastaria + Chophouse presents its exclusive, limited-seating, six-course whiskey dinner featuring a chef-inspired menu prepared specifically for the event.

Chef David Buchanan will join dinner guests to share his story behind the dish featured in each course and the exceptional whiskey or bourbon selected for the pairing.

This special event is limited to only 25 guests for each seating at 5:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Priced at $125 per person plus tax and gratuity, reservations and pre-payment are required and available by calling 360.716.1500.

The exceptional menu includes:

• Starter – Smoked Pork Belly with Sicilian Caponata: smoked pork belly with Jack Daniels caponata and pine nuts. Paired with Jack Daniels 12-year (107 proof)
• From the Sea – Grilled Sockeye Salmon with House Pesto: Sockeye salmon grilled over cherry wood and mesquite coal with homemade pesto. Paired with Angel Envy Rye finished in rum casks (100 proof)
• Salad – Amalfi Cost Caesar Salad: Homemade Caesar salad dressing with lemon zest tossed with crispy Romaine lettuce and homemade croutons. Paired with Eagle Rare 10-year Bourbon (90 proof)
• Intermezzo – Berry Sorbet. Paired with Blackened Black Brandy Cask Bourbon (90 proof)
• From the Land – Wagyu Manhattan Steak: Manhattan-cut steak sous vide, medium rare, seared with whiskey demi-glace with creamy cacio e pepe polenta, steamed broccolini and grilled baby carrots. Paired with George T Stagg 2024 (136.1 proof)

• Dessert – Homemade Chocolate Olive Oil Cake with Bourbon-infused cherries. Paired with Willett Wheated 8-year Bourbon (108 proof)

When all you want is everything, the dinner’s guests may enjoy a complete “night out” experiencing gaming throughout the award-winning resort casino, including the newly opened north expansion featuring more than 400 slot machines, a new North Bar including an outdoor patio, dramatic new north and east entrances and other amenities.

The expansion, which brings the casino to a total of 270,250 square feet, marks a major milestone in the multi-year construction and renovation project. The project has now completely shifted to a total renovation scheduled for completion in late 2026. All venues throughout the casino, including the DraftKings Sportsbook and dining outlets, remain open during the renovation.
