DJ Rojito is a Seattle-based Latin DJ with a diverse sound. Born in Silver Springs, Maryland, Rojito was thrust into a popping east coast music scene. Rojito was born from an immigrant family (Dominican) and an American family of musical diversity. It was here he was able to hear and develop sounds that others simply could not, allowing him to have a different vibe.

Being the son of a military man also gave Rojito the opportunity to move to different regions and allowed him to develop a diverse palate in music. Coming from the northeast, Rojito was always fascinated with music, so he bought his first console and has been at it ever since.

DJing in locations in NYC, Allentown, Destin and Orlando, he is now performing in the Seattle area, with residency at the Night Owl in Tacoma and the Golden Fleece in Everett. Rojito also rotates at Club SUR and other locations in the Pacific Northwest. His focus is to read the crowd and let people hear a different vibe that they will not hear from any other DJ. El único.

When guitarist and music director Monty Smith conceived the idea for A-List Playlist, he recognized the enduring demand for exceptional dance party entertainment. However, he understood that to truly stand out from the crowd of top 40 acts, something distinctive was required. Monty embarked on a journey of inspiration by consulting with major casinos in the Northwest and Nevada. What he heard from these establishments was enlightening: people cherished the live band's entertainment value but also craved the danceability and versatility of a top-tier DJ. Through meticulous curation, Monty has seamlessly fused these two concepts into a one-of-a-kind production that promises an unparalleled experience. This feat was achieved by assembling a crew of exceptional lead singers and rhythm players from the region, completing the ambitious vision of A-List Playlist.

The night comes alive with a contemporary playlist, featuring chart-topping hits from today's music luminaries such as Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars, Jonas Brothers, Lizzo, The Weeknd and Ke$ha. These modern-day artists infuse the air with an electrifying energy, setting the stage for an unforgettable night of dancing.

Set sail on a smooth groove voyage with Drop It Like It’s Yacht, who are dedicated to celebrating the golden era of yacht rock—that breezy, soulful blend of soft rock, R&B and jazz fusion that ruled the airwaves in the late ’70s and early ’80s.

A self-described “multi-hyphenate,” Chukundi aka Kun Luv grew up in the central area of Seattle and attended Garfield High School. He is a former political candidate, a civil servant, a community activist, an author, an entrepreneur, an environmentalist, volunteer and much more.

Given the name DJ Kun Luv while attending Elizabeth City State University (a North Carolina HBCU) and DJing the “GYM JAMS,” Chukundi has gone on to perform at events around the world. Known for his ability to connect with a crowd, he has been one of the premier party rockers in the Pacific Northwest and beyond for over 25 years. In the 90s, he served as NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton’s official DJ while selling mixed tapes across the country including the legendary music store Earwax in Atlanta.

Luv has shared the stage with music greats from Patti Labelle and Gladys Knight to Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj, and is a regular in the Seattle area. He is often tapped to perform at corporate and company events, and maintains a client list that includes Microsoft, Boeing, The Urban League, Verizon, AT&T and more.

He has served as a brand ambassador for many local and international companies including his own clothing brand that was carried in Macy’s for a period of time. As an official “Cîroc Boy” DJ, he worked for Diageo and Blue Flame Marketing to promote CIROC Vodka across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Outside of his DJ work, Luv is the founder of Service is a Lifestyle, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit. He is also a 25-year employee at Seattle Parks and Recreation.
