A self-described “multi-hyphenate,” Chukundi aka Kun Luv grew up in the central area of Seattle and attended Garfield High School. He is a former political candidate, a civil servant, a community activist, an author, an entrepreneur, an environmentalist, volunteer and much more.

Given the name DJ Kun Luv while attending Elizabeth City State University (a North Carolina HBCU) and DJing the “GYM JAMS,” Chukundi has gone on to perform at events around the world. Known for his ability to connect with a crowd, he has been one of the premier party rockers in the Pacific Northwest and beyond for over 25 years. In the 90s, he served as NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton’s official DJ while selling mixed tapes across the country including the legendary music store Earwax in Atlanta.

Luv has shared the stage with music greats from Patti Labelle and Gladys Knight to Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj, and is a regular in the Seattle area. He is often tapped to perform at corporate and company events, and maintains a client list that includes Microsoft, Boeing, The Urban League, Verizon, AT&T and more.

He has served as a brand ambassador for many local and international companies including his own clothing brand that was carried in Macy’s for a period of time. As an official “Cîroc Boy” DJ, he worked for Diageo and Blue Flame Marketing to promote CIROC Vodka across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Outside of his DJ work, Luv is the founder of Service is a Lifestyle, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit. He is also a 25-year employee at Seattle Parks and Recreation.

MEET DR. Crüe!

There is little doubt among the rock community that the legendary hard rock band Mötley Crüe earned high ranks as one of the most powerful and iconic bands in rock history. Mötley Crüe burned through the ’80s in a blaze of drugs, debauchery and platinum hits. Their glammed-out image, hard-partying reputation and knack for melding pop hooks to heavy metal theatrics took the band to the top of the charts repeatedly throughout the ‘80s. Dr. Crüe – Mötley Crüe Tribute, was formed in 2017. Dr. Crüe consists of Shawn Worra as Vince Neil, Marco Lago-Ferrari as Nikki Sixx, Doug Cisler as Mick Mars, and Paul Higgins as Tommy Lee. These four seasoned musicians bring an over-the-top, high-energy live show combined with virtuosic musicianship and the striking visual presence of an authentic ‘80s era Mötley Crüe concert including hits “Live Wire,” “Kickstart My Heart,” “Home Sweet Home” and "Girls, Girls, Girls.”
