TULALIP, Wash. (December 8, 2025) – Whiskey and bourbon aficionados can anticipate an exclusive evening of culinary excellence at the “Blackfish Woodinville Prix Fixe Whiskey Dinner” Thursday, January 15 presented by Tulalip Resort Casino’s Blackfish Wild Salmon Grill & Bar. Originally scheduled for November 6, this special event will feature a five-course, chef-inspired menu paired with selections from the acclaimed Woodinville Distillery, winner of multiple prestigious awards and gold medals.
Chef David Buchanan will join dinner guests to share his story behind the dish featured in each course and Woodinville Distillery’s Deszeray Dougherty will discuss the exceptional whiskey or bourbon chosen for the pairing.
This special event is limited to only 25 guests for each seating at 5:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Priced at $135 per person plus tax and gratuity, reservations and pre-payment are required and available by calling 360.716.1100.
The exceptional menu and pairings include:
1st Course: Pan-seared Chilean Sea Bass with autumn spice, smoked carrot puree accented with maple sugar, candied hazelnuts, blackened onion wedge and fennel frond. Paired with Woodinville Port Finished Bourbon – 90 proof.
2nd Course: House-made Lobster Bisque with bourbon foam and chives. Accompanied by the “Gold Rush Cocktail” with Woodinville Flagship Bourbon – 90 proof.
3rd Course: Blackberry, Poached Pear Salad. Mixed greens tossed in house blackberry vinaigrette with chardonnay poached pears, Beemster aged gouda, toasted walnuts and roasted beets. Paired with Woodinville 9-year Bourbon – 100 proof.
4th Course: Filet Mignon with Twin Sister’s Bleu Cheese. Seared filet with Twin Sister’s bleu cheese, roasted cauliflower puree, port demi glace, asparagus and braised baby carrot. Accompanied by Woodinville Founder’s Find – 107 proof.
5th Course: Caramel Chocolate Tart with whiskey-soaked cherries. Paired with Woodinville 8-year Rye Whiskey – 100 proof.
