BENEFITTING AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY AND FEATURING BEVY OF SPECTACULAR CUSTOMS AND CLASSICS, “RELAY FOR LIFE” CAR SHOW CRUISES INTO TULALIP RESORT CASINO SUNDAY, AUGUST 17

TULALIP, Wash. (August 11, 2025) – Sparkling custom classics, “souped up” hot rods, spectacular muscle cars and restored vintage favorites represent just a sampling of cars and trucks on display at the “Relay for Life” Car Show at Tulalip Resort Casino on Sunday, August 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Quil Ceda Creek Casino joins in supporting the free-admission event with all proceeds from fundraising at the show benefitting The American Cancer Society.

With approximately 200 cars and trucks on display, the show will be located in the Tulalip Amphitheatre Parking Lot accessible via Interstate 5 northbound at exit 200 and southbound at exit 202. Complementing the shiny entries will be plenty to see and do with tasty food and beverage offerings for sale by Tulalip Resort Casino and area vendors, a variety of exhibitors, a live DJ with Crystal Lane Productions, and a silent auction and raffle featuring great donated items to support the fundraising effort. This is a family-friendly event and all ages are welcome to the casino’s eateries, with the exception of Salish Sun, when accompanied by an adult.

Judged by cancer survivors and caregivers, trophies will be awarded by model year with additional fun categories including “Best Display” and the tongue-in-cheek “Most Likely to Be Pulled Over” trophy, to name a few. For the past 12 years this event has attracted car and truck entries from throughout the region and this year’s show spotlights the 40th anniversary of Relay of Life fundraising events across the globe to support the ongoing fight against cancer.

“We are excited to co-host this year’s American Cancer Society Relay for Life Car Show and encourage the public join us in this great cause,” stated Belinda Hegnes, Executive Vice President of Quil Ceda Creek Casino. “We’ve all been touched by cancer somehow and this event celebrates cancer survivors, remembers those lost to cancer and raises funds to support cancer research, patient support, and other important programs.”

Timeline highlights include registration, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.; show open to the public 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; judging, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the trophies’ presentation beginning at 3 p.m.

The “Relay for Life” Car Show is adjacent to Tulalip Resort Casino’s newly opened north expansion features more than 400 slot machines, the new North Bar including an outdoor patio, dramatic new north and east entrances, and additional restrooms.

The expansion, which brings the casino to a total of 270,250 square feet, marks a major milestone in the multi-year construction and renovation project. The project now shifts to a total renovation of the award-winning Tulalip Resort Casino, which is scheduled for completion in late 2026. All venues throughout the casino, including DraftKings Sportsbook and dining outlets, will remain open during the renovation.
