CONSTRUCTION BEGINS ON MAJOR EXPANSION AND RENOVATION AT TULALIP RESORT CASINO
SWINERTON, RICE FERGUS MILLER ANNOUNCED AS KEY TEAM MEMBERS FOR PROJECT SCHEDULED TO BE COMPLETED AT THE END OF 2025
TULALIP, Wash. (January 30, 2024) – The major expansion and renovation of Tulalip Resort Casino is now under way, marking the beginning of an anticipated 24-month construction timeline. The expansion at the north end of the current casino will add 70,250-square-feet to the existing 192,000-square-foot property and will feature expanded gaming options and guest amenities. The completed project will feature impressive new design features throughout the entire resort casino.
The completed expansion and renovation will highlight the Tulalip Tribes’ culture and traditions and weave them into innovative design concepts representing the dynamics of the Salish Sea, shorelines and forest environments.
“In keeping with our connection to our waters as the People of the Salmon, we will continue to tell our story through the new architectural features and visuals, a rich palate of colors and the use of natural materials,” said Marci Fryberg, President/COO of Tulalip Gaming Organization.
The North Entrance closed January 15 for site preparation for the first phase of construction, including the perimeter of the expanded gaming floor and guest services. Construction efforts aim to minimize disruptions for guests and the existing gaming floor will remain open during the initial construction phase.
Working with the internal Project Team and Division Leaders, Swinerton Construction is the building contractor and Rice Fergus Miller is the architectural firm for the project.
