REGGAE STARS SHAGGY, THE ORIGINAL WAILERS AND ALEX DUNCAN JOIN STELLAR TULALIP RESORT CASINO AMPHITHEATRE “SUMMER CONCERT SERIES”

TULALIP, Wash. (April 11, 2025) – The uplifting vibes of reggae under warm sunny skies take center stage during Tulalip Resort Casino’s “Summer Concert Series” with the addition of award-winning artist Shaggy (Saturday, August 2, 7 p.m.) joined by The Original Wailers and Alex Duncan.

The 20th anniversary edition of the series, held at the intimate 3,000-seat outdoor Tulalip Amphitheatre, also features legendary rapper Ludacris (Thursday, July 10), Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Kool & The Gang with Special Guest The Commodores (Friday, July 25) and Grammy-nominated country music star Chris Young (Friday, August 8). Shaggy is a seven-time Grammy Award nominee, winning twice for Boombastic (Best Reggae Album) and most recently in 2019, with Sting, for 44/876. He has scored hits with “It Wasn’t Me,” “Boombastic,” “In the Summertime,” “Oh Carolina” and “Angel.”

Joining the triple bill are The Original Wailers, co-founded by Al Anderson, formerly lead guitarist for the legendary Bob Marley and The Wailers. Inspired by Marley, Peter Tosh and other iconic reggae artists, the Grammy-nominated band is a favorite as it tours the U.S. Alex Duncan opens the show with an authentic and unique blend of reggae, dancehall and soca genres. Formerly the lead singer of the Seattle-based band Jumbalassy, he has performed throughout the Northwest to rave reviews.
