TULALIP, Wash. (April 12, 2024) – Iconic R&B legend Charlie Wilson is the first performer announced for the upcoming “Summer Concert Series” in the 3,000-seat Tulalip Resort Casino Amphitheatre. Set for Thursday, August 29, at 7 p.m., Wilson is among the top entertainers appearing in the popular series presented throughout the summer under warm sunny skies.
Tickets ($135/$125/$110/$100) go on sale Friday, April 19, through Ticketmaster and service charge-free at Tulalip Resort Casino’s Box Office and Quil Ceda Creek Casino’s ONE club desk.
A powerhouse singer, musician and songwriter, Charlie Wilson has scored several Top 10 hits including “All of My Love” with Smokey Robinson, “You Are” and “There Goes My Baby.” He first gained prominence as the lead vocalist with the legendary Gap Band with major hits “You Dropped the Bomb on Me,” “Outstanding,” “Party Train” and “Burn Rubber on Me.”
