Influenced by country music’s traditions, Joe Nichols has been a mainstay of country music for two decades, bridging the gap between the genre’s old-school roots and today’s country sound. He has racked up a half-dozen #1 singles and ten Top 10 hits. It is an approach that has earned him multi-platinum record success, three Grammy nominations, a CMA award and an ACM trophy. From his first radio smash, 2002’s “The Impossible,” to his number one hit “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,” Nichols has proudly blurred the boundaries between country music’s past and present.
