TULALIP, Wash. (March 22, 2024) – Expect plenty of vocal fireworks as the multi-talented Cookie Watkins pays tribute to the legendary Tina Turner in one dynamic show Sunday, May 26 at 7PM at Tulalip Resort Casino’s Canoes Cabaret.

In “Cookie Watkins – Tribute to Tina Turner” the international performing artist and Broadway stage veteran’s soaring, throaty vocals are showcased in Turner’s string of hits including “Higher,” “Better Be Good to Me” and “What’s Love Got To Do With It” topped off with her high-energy rendition of “Proud Mary.”
First discovered at the age of 14 by the renowned Duke Ellington, Watkins studied opera and classical music before her own out-of-the-box smash hit “Can’t Judge a Book by Its Cover” brought her to the forefront of the dance movement.
The show is expected to sell out quickly. The intimate Canoes Cabaret features seating for 180 and standing room only for up to 300 additional attendees.
